Having created The Gallery Bar at Grosvenor House in 1993 Caroline was inspired by artists who worked in every conceivable medium. It was to clay that she eventually turned and in recent years she felt compelled to translate her belief in angels into creations of her own. Caroline's studio is out of doors overlooking The Solway Firth and as she hears the waves crash and the swallows diving around her these heavenly beings seem to emerge from her hands.

Encouraged by her friends, to turn her hobby into something more productive and commercial she held her first exhibition, shared with the portrait sculptor Bryan Ellery, at The Sloane Club in November 2007. To her amazement this was a success and she continued with another show in 2008. Caroline was invited to exhibit with Bryan Ellery once again at The Catstrand in Dalry, Kirkcudbrightshire in August 2008. This summer Caroline's work has been chosen for The Arts Festival at Holy Trinity Sloane Square and The Newby Hall Sculpture Park. Caroline's sculptures are in private collections, and are for sale at The General Trading Company in Sloane Square as well as in other galleries and shops in and out of London.

Originally self taught, Caroline attends weekly classes at Heatherley's School of Fine Art. She spent a week in 2008 with the sculptor Philippe Chazot near Avignon and recently a weekend with the Suffolk based sculptor and creator of the Aldborough Creek Men, Laurence Edwards. Although "things with wings" have been her showcase, she has diversified into other subject matter and materials.
